Fire is the oxidation of combustible material, when ignited, produces heat. This release of energy is harnessed ain many ways.. We see from day to day in our vehicles. Fire starts when there is an adequate supply of combustible material in the presence of oxygen or another oxidizer is ignited through an external force (heat). once ignited a chain reaction occurs which is commonly know as fire tetrahedron. when this chain reaction occurs, a fire can further sustain itself by releasing heat through its’ combustion process, provided that there is enough oxygen and fuel. A fire cannot exist without all these elements in place, so by removing even one of these elements, the fire becomes extinguised. The red orange glow that is seen is a mixture of reacting gases and solids emitting an infrared light.
