Wind, a late 14th century word from the tacium sanitatus (biblioteca casanatensis, rome). Wind is the flow of air or gases that is comprised of tiny molecules. The measurement of these molecules is generated when there is a difference in density between two air masses. wind is measured in ten minute time intervals. this movement of molecules is happening all over the globe. But wind is not limited to the earth, it can be found on other planets in our and other solar systems as well. There are many factors that drive winds. Land mass can have a huge effect on velocity and direction. A difference in heating cycles between the earths poles and equator can trigger wind movement. It also plays a major role in the earths environment. In the early days of civilization, wind has inspired mythology. It took the form of many gods varying from culture to culture. It has also expanded the range of transport (ships) and warfare. As civilization progressed technologically, wind became a natural source of power for mechanical work. It’s powers were even harnessed to produce electricity by the use of wind generated turbines. It was even used as a source for recreation.

Wind is a late 14th century word that originated from Rome. It mostly consists of tiny molecules composed of natural gases found on earth. The movement of wind is generated when there is a difference in air masses. Wind measurements are taken at ten minute intervals, of course these measurements are calculated depending on the density and velocity of the wind. At any given point in time there is a constant movement of wind through out our globe. There are many factors that contribute to the direction of flow and the velocity. Land mass and heat convection are two good examples that effect wind shear. Wind shear can measured horizontally and or vertically. Movement is generated when a high pressure wind meets a low pressure wind. There are three types of major winds that is found on the globe. The Trade winds, Westerly, and Polar winds are the predominant winds. Their flow and direction are what effect our climate.

Wind has inspired many things on earth. It’s a word that originated from the roman language in the late 14th century. Its has shaped the earth for millions of years and has inspired Mythology in cultures around the world. It has even expand the range of transportation through sail boats and it has even changed the face of war. Wind serves many purposes: it’s a source for renewable energy(Electric generated wind mills), form of transportation (airplanes), and a source of recreational activities(Kites and sail boats). Over millennia, wind has shaped the very world that we see today. Wind movement is generated when two different densities of air collide with one another. The movement that is felt are the tiny gaseous molecules, that comprise the wind, colliding with one another. The measurement of wind is taken in ten minute intervals. The unit of time varies with wind velocity in direction. Wind has played many roles and will continue to do so for many years to come.

In the early days of civilization, wind had its many uses. Wind was not easily understood back in those early days of civilization. The only explanation that mankind could come up with was that it was the workings of a supernatural being; it was personified as one or many gods and worshipped across the earth by many communities. It has served many roles; it was the sole reason for the development of shrines in many cultures. Wind has worked it’s way in to the bible and into the Japanese culture. As civilization progressed, the understanding of wind became clearer. Wind is merely gaseous molecules that comprise our atmosphere. Wind is generated when there is a difference in densities. These differences in air masses causes the molecules to push against one another. Winds are classified by their spatial scale, speed, and types of forces that cause them. Wind is commonly measured at ten minute intervals, and different intervals depending on wind shear.

In the late 14th century, the word wind was derived from the Romans. Although the first known scientific description of wind was from the seventeenth-century Italian physicist Evangelista Torricelli; it still had many, if not all, of the same effects. Throughout history, wind has shaped many things. To explain supernatural events it was personified as one or many gods throughout different cultures. In Greek Mythology it was known as the four wind gods; Boreas, Notus, Eurus, and Zephyrus. On the other side of globe, it was acknowledged as Fujin, the Japanese wind god. As you can see; no matter where on this earth, wind has played a major role. As civilization progressed, the understanding of wind became clearer to humanity. It was discovered that wind was merely a combination of gaseous molecules that make up our atmosphere. When there is a difference in density between these molecules, wind is generated. Of course there are many other factors that contribute to wind. Land mass and a difference in cooling and heating between the poles are few of the many. There has been many uses for wind. Wind has shaped recreational activities, transportation and warfare. It has even been harnessed as a renewable source of energy and was also used to perform mechanical work on farms. Wind also plays a crucial role in the environment. It helps with seed dispersal and climate changes. Wind has shaped the earth and its’ inhabitants for many years; and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Fire is the oxidation of combustible material, when ignited, produces heat. This release of energy is harnessed ain many ways.. We see from day to day in our vehicles. Fire starts when there is an adequate supply of combustible material in the presence of oxygen or another oxidizer is ignited through an external force (heat). once ignited a chain reaction occurs which is commonly know as fire tetrahedron. when this chain reaction occurs, a fire can further sustain itself by releasing heat through its’ combustion process, provided that there is enough oxygen and fuel. A fire cannot exist without all these elements in place, so by removing even one of these elements, the fire becomes extinguised. The red orange glow that is seen is a mixture of reacting gases and solids emitting an infrared light.

After school I went home, and draik some coffee.
Although I was sick, I came to class any way.
As if, I could finish my breakfast.
Because she wanted to, she expremented with S&M.
Before I went home, I met some friednds at a bar.
Even though I was tired, class went by quickly.
How did he, eat that school bus in 2 hours.
If I did, kill my wife, I wouldn’t have ben caught.
In order that they came, the packages where shipped out.
Rather than go home, I went to a rave.
Since we went home, I missed the hunting trip.
So that I can go to your house, I must clean my room.
Than that, was a silly grammer error.
That wasn’t right, at the time, but with highensight it was a genous move
Though he said, that the game was free it really wasn’t.
Unless I do this, I can’t drive my car.
Until I buy this, my computer is useless.
When are you going to the store?
Where was it, your mother.
Whether he wants, it or not he is going to be shot.
Which one was it,
While she was home,
Who was she with,
Whom it would concern, I need to commit sucide…
Whose life is in danger? hers.
Why would she do such a thing.

Men and women are completley opposites. Women are elegant and graceful while men tend to take the shotgun appraoch to most things. men can be very logical and usefull at most times. But that’s most of the time. the other half of their time is devoted to playing video games, watching cartoons, and getting dirty.

I can’t stand fact tha some men just plain stink. I don’t understand how you can go for several days without taking a shower, and all the while thinking that you don’t stink. Men can be very imature at times as well. When they are with their friends, they resort to low the lowest forms of communications that you can possibly think of. Men communicate by yelling and wrestling one another; then there’s the high five. The high five is by far the lowest form of communication that any one can perform. Even the monkeys have moved on to sign language. this goes to show how stupid and barbaric a man’s mind can be.

Neanderthal is the perfect name that can describe most if not all men. They tend to use brute strenght instead of their heads to solve through problems. Impatience is another trait that men possess. When things are extremely hard, but not impossible to solve, they often throw a fit. It proves that no matter how old men get, they will always be little boys.

With that aside, jokes are another reason why men arent easily understood. Some the jokes that they laugh at are not even funny. Mostof the jokes are crude, racial, and sexiest. The Chuck Norris facts are good example; for instance, “Chuck Norris once had sex in a tractor and accidently got some of his baby batter on the tractor seat, we now know today that the tractor is known as the Optimus Prime”, how is that in any way funny. the blonde jokes are the most intollerable. Most of those jokes, if not all, are sexist and fictictious.

Men will never learn to grow up. They’ll laugh at anything that’s not remot even funny. It’s understandible if your five years old and watching cartoons in your teddybear pajamas on saturday mornings. But there’s no excuses when your 24 and still doing it. the fact that men will never act there age is quite bothersome.

Another pressing issue is men and their cars. They tend to treat their cars much better than their significant other. a car is an inanimate object, it has no life, so there is no reason to give it a name and to conversate with it. The most worse of things is when men take a perfectly good running car and tear it down only to rebuild it so it would driver quicker. It’s simply just a waste of money, why can’t they spend it on moe usefull things such as a purse.

Men are complete wrecks, if they were allowed to run this world with out a women’s supervision, this world be in trouble. Although many generations of men have come and gone, they will never learn togrow up. As the saying goes,”If a man makes a mistake and there’s no women their to correct him, is it wrong”.

While growing up I was not like most other kids in my school. My mother imigrated here to the U.S. in 1988. I was only three at the time and I don’t remember much from that age. But what I do recall is having to learn English from that age on.

the first several years of school was really hard for me. I was struggling to keep up with my fellow classmates while trying to learn English. Although the school I attended offered ESL to assist me, it didn’t help much. Reason being, at the end of the school day I would return home where hardly any English was spoken. So in many ways than one, I didn’t have much practice outside of school. making progress very difficult.

Although the majority of my family are first generation immigrants, they are without some form of English skills. But the thing with first generation immigrant families, my household in this case, is that they tend to communicate in ways that they are comfortable with. In situations such as this, English is seldom spoken and practiced.

Several years have progressed since then and so has my English speaking skills. I noticed hat my communication skills has improved much over those years and things have become much easier in day to day activities. But there is one thing that still remains the same today, my thought process hasn’t change much. Most kids that were born and raised here tend to think in the language that they groomed up with. So to those lucky many, thought process is quite easier. But in my case, more times than once, i find myself interpreting things in my native tongue and in the language that I’ve learned over these years, English. I find that this becomes very conflicting at times.

We as a country have come a long way. We went from Slavory, Racism, and Segregation to a land of equal oportunity and equality. This country has seen many changes in the past century. During Dr Kings time, Racism, and segregation was a common part of every day life. But from that point until now, many things have changed. We as a country have elected our first Black President, President Barack Obama. Even though many things have changed, there are still remnants of the past that haunt us today.

At the beginning of Dr Kings time, Racism and Segregation was commonly seen through out the comunnity. Blacks weren’t allowed to attend the same schools as Whites. There were even seperate drinking fountains designated for Blacks. Blacks weren’t allowed to eat in certain areas and voting rights wasn’t a previlage that they had. Even working wages for the Black American was less than average. All this Hatred and Segregation inspired Dr Martin Luther King Jr to push for equality.

Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man. He lived in the 60′s where segragation and discrimination was an everyday occurance, as it was apart of everyday life. Dr King was inspired to write a speech. This speech was known as the “I have a Dream’ speach. This speech was given in August of 1963. Many Black Americans marched on this fine day to here Dr King’s speech. In this speech, Dr King talks about how Blacks were treated unequally and looked down upon. Some of his quotes were, “America has given the Negro people a bad check” and ” The Negro People is languishing in American society and still finds himself an exile in his own land”. Quotes like these inspired many Blacks to push for equal rights using non violent protests.

Since that time America has learned that such hatred amoungst our own can only bring dispair. We as a country have slowly begun to except one another as equals. But not all things are perfect. We still see today remnants of discrimination and racism within our society, not just amoung blacks and whites but between all races. Although things are moving forward, since the time of Dr King, hatred is still apart of everyday life. Nonetheless we are one step closer to uniting all citizens of America. By electing our very first Black President, we move one step forward to creating a better Nation.

President Obama shares many views as Dr King. Obama was born from a interacial couple. He knew the hardships between each race and was able to share with us in a speech “A Perfect Union” Although the times have changed, Obama still adresses the issues that we still have in society today, that has been seen in the past. Some of the issues that Obama speaks of is discrimination and unequal policies towards the middle class and upper class. Like Dr. King, Obama is Pushing for equal righta for all Americans. What I meen by equal rights, Obama is pushing for health care and schooling for all Americans. Obama states that statistics show that Minorities, not just blacks, have the lowest education level. The views shared by Dr. King and President Obama are very much the same, the both are pushing for equality.

Many things have changed since the 60′s. We went from a Nation that discrimnated the B;ack communtiy to electing our very first Black American President. Yet racism and hatred still exists, even with the election of a Black American President. Although racism and discrimination is still apart of society today, we are still attempting to make changes as a nation. The truth of it all, no matter what we do to improve equality, there will always be some form of hatred in this world we live in. But we canall do our part b setting aside our differences and moving forward to creating, not a perfect, but a better Nation.
